An antique pot cupboard... when I heard that I thought ahhh cute a little cupboard for kitchen saucepans. Nope. It wasn't until I got it home and did some research that I realised this beauty was made to hold bedroom pots back in the day 
Apart from decades of dirt, grime, layers of varnish and a missing handle this little cupboard was in great condition. I stripped it back using a tungsten carbide scraper followed by a sand and treatment.
I handpainted the motif on the front and sealed the whole unit in @frenchic browning wax. All topped off with a new brass handle.
