My final furniture transformation of 2022 is this beautiful country side table. This piece came to me from a lovely return client who moved into their new home this year. They wanted to give this piece a new look to fit in with the decor.
The original plan was to bring it back to the original wood finish, but during the initial prep stages, we found it was a combination of solid wood and mdf. No furniture transformation comes without some little surprises 
Instead we went for a lovely neutral tone #stonerosie by #frenchic applied with #twofussyblokes rollers and browning wax to highlight the wood grain on the solid wood areas. I used the browning wax over the paint around the edges and drawers to give it some age and character.
