The original craftsmanship of this chair is just stunning. I love all the detail from the beautiful spindles to the stunning #oak woodgrain which was hidden under layers of dark mahogany varnish.
I stripped the chair back to the original wood, treated it and after a few repairs it was time for the fun part... decorating. I used @frenchicpaint #browningwax from @treacy_decor to highlight the grain and seal the wood.
