It's funny what draws you to a piece. I this case picked I fell in love with the simple wooden handles. When I stripped it back I found some beautifully detailed pine drawers crying out to be freed.
Gone is the red plastic vinyl top. I replaced it with a parquet pattern which I can't get enough of at the moment. The parquet top and drawers are finished with frenchic browning wax. The frame and handles are painted in loof using #twofussyblokes rollers and sealed with #frenchic browning wax.
The old wooden platform base had been replace with new metal legs from #BAndQIreland.
