A bit of a change in process for me with this one. I'm usually painting furniture rather than stripping it. I couldn't decide what to do with this one so I thought the best thing to do was go back to the beginning and I'm so glad I did, check out that stunning solid #teak and veneer. This is tv unit would be the perfect addition to any modern home.
I did my best to save as much of the original veneer as possible but some areas were beyond repair unfortunately. To finish the piece I used #Frenchic browning wax to highlight the fab wood grain, #loof by #frenchic for the legs and table top applied with #twofussyblokes rollers for a perfectly velvet finish, the new brass handles are from #bandq and finally a pop of colour inside the top drawer with some teal velvet.
