Pretty in pink💕

These old pieces always hold little surprises and this one was no different. Inside I found a poem inscribed in pencil by the previous owner It's wonderful to find these little mementos from the past.

A challenging but worthwhile project, first I removed the old oil based paint, sanded it back to the original wood and treated it. Once it was dry I set about some repairs and once they were done it was time to give this beauty a new lease of life. My client was looking for a raspberry to colour this handmade #sideboard so we went with advanced satinwood in #Keymer mixed by @treacy_decor Of course I relied on @twofussyblokes rollers for the perfect spray effect finish.
