From orange pine to french country chic with some paint and a little imagination.
I think every house in ireland has or had a bedside locker like this at some point. They're great sturdy pieces and offer lots of storage but the orangey finish can become a bit tired.
To transform this one I replaced the legs and removed replaced the top drawer with a shelf and basket. Sanded back the exterior and applied #frenchic créme de la créme for the base colour using #twofussyblokes rollers. I hand painted in some florals on the drawers and wallpaper detail on the side. Then distressed it to get the shabby country look and finished it with #browningwax also from frenchic to give it an aged look. This would be perfect for the bedside or as some extra storage in the bathroom.
