This stunning antique sideboard and mirror came from a lovely customer of mine. It arrived into the workshop in a lot of pieces but thankfully I love a good puzzle.
It needed a to be completely stripped of the old varnish which was a mammoth task given all the intricate carving detail. But with a little help from some Nitromors and a comfy seat it was time well spent.
Once it was pieced back together and a few repairs made it was time for the finishing touches. To highlight the stunning woodgrain and beautiful floral carving we opted for @Frenchic browning wax. Perfect choice.
Then it was time to replace the cleaned hardware and the original mirror to top it all off.
