I fell in love with the detail on this piece as soon as I saw it. The delicate carved trims and original art deco style handles are so elegant yet understated.
This piece is a mix of solid oak and ply and was begging to be released from the dull brown mid century varnish. I stripped it right back and added a layer of wax that highlights the beautiful grain and nourishes the wood.
